It was raining so we thought we'd check out the sex machine museum. There's a lot of erotic and Exponates quite old and not surprising any more, must be renovated as soon as possible and changed I've been to this museum and I'm not ashamed to admit it!
Ok, it was an interesting experience but really not all that it was cracked up to be - you'd get more value visiting www. Honestly, this was the biggest rip-off in all of Prague which I love, by the way. First, my travel book said there was a souvenir shop located in the museum that you can peruse after traveling through the exhibit. Just so you know, there is no gift shop.
The girls who work there are completely rude. The admission is terribly overpriced. The exhibit isn't anything extraordinary. It disgusted me and my husband the intent was for it to be a somewhat romantic experience. Don't waste your time! We found it interesting and educative, why not It is big enough not to get bored in it and it covers a large period up to contemporary time.
It was nice to see how we evolved from thinking that sex is shameful and sinful to having so many sex toys and gadgets that you need operating instructions to use them. LOL I honestly did not realize such things existed. Went there with friends on a goof and actually found it quite interesting with the exception of the third floor which was so bizzarescary, actually. This is not a large museum, I think we spent about an hour there, but it is certainly unique!
We debated the actual use of some of the items didn't the Smithsonian call that a birthing chair?? While it's not recommended for those whose sensibilities would be offended oh no! Would I recommend to a friend?
