Provide information to radio room of the location of the places the international or national staff passenger and ensure a timely update. Communicate clearly and respectfully to international or national staff being escorted Ensure timely and visibility during the arrival of international staff to the airport. Provide support and local knowledge guidance to international staff when travelling any where or when required Provide information to international staff through information from radio room or local knowledge on the route situation, vehicle situation and inform guard on entering and exiting Oxfam compounds such as guest houses and offices.
Listen to local radio stations and be informed of any security incidents in the city. Make sure the place the international staff visiting will not endanger their health and safety and provide proper coordination with radio room.
Translate for international staff within the vehicle, if needed. Report security incidents to manager and advice as per situations to avoid any incidents. Support with letters dispatch, photocopying, printing, and act as a messenger if needed.
To undertake other duties as required, in accordance with the job purpose, to ensure the efficient operation of the programme. Education minimum grade 12 pass. E Able to follow set procedures and instructions. E Demonstrates the ability to work within a team. E Organised and efficient. E Strong sense of personal responsibility. E Good hearing and sight plus good health. E Good communication skills. Fluency in local languages is essential. A fluent skill in English is an advantage.
E Able to work under pressure and flexible timeframe. E Minimum 2 years experience in security field-prefer escort field. This job description is not incorporated in the employment contract.
