I'm looking to have a Xanax and Ritalin prescription filled, have US scripts, but I have no idea where to start in nuevo progreso with a doctor first and a pharmacy second.
Any help on how to figure that out? I hear IF u buy it, it may not really be it, as well as some other meds. Some stores might suggest if u buy it, to put those meds in another medication box. You don't need any prescription in Nuevo Progreso and every other business is a pharmacy.
They sometimes just sell it outright and sometimes, they just write a prescription so you can claim it over the border patrol. There must have been 50 pharmacies there and they are all on the sidewalk hollering about all the medicines they have and passing out business cards. My source was from Geronimo, who works for Cuates Pharmacy, which is one block west of the main drag.
He hangs out mid-block of the main drag in front of Juarez Optical. A big guy, a big smile, and very helpful. But all pharmacies pretty much have the same prices.
Ativan is also available. I used to buy it often. Sometimes, from the weird off-the-street vendors,. I now only buy those from a reputable pharmacy, Jessica's Pharmacy, the one across the street from Benevides. There are other Jessica's, but don't know if they are related. Some meds are regulated as to only being able to take like 50 pills over a month. But no one has ever checked to see what medications I have purchased.
